Just to keep things simple so you don't have to wonder how to accept a canon, I'm just going to put some basic rules down here.
Canon Rules
If you are interested in a canon, please post a reply in that canon's character thread to let us know that you are interested.
Please know that canon's are not first come, first serve. After you have posted your interest for a character, either me or Admin will PM you with a discussion about your canon that you have shown interest for.
Each member is only allowed to take a total of two canon characters, this is to ensure that everyone has a fair shot at playing a canon character.
You will need to have an approval by either me or Admin before posting a canon application for approval.
Once a member has won a canon character the winning member will be PMed the username and password for that characters account.
If your canon character is taken from you, that characters account will be disabled, and a PM will be sent to the member that tried out for that character asking for the character accounts password. The accounts password will be changed, and the account will be re-enabled and out back up for adoption.
Please know that canon character's names CANNOT be changed. Though if staff did not provide you with a middle name, you may add whatever middle name you wish, and you may certainly give your canon a nickname or two.
While the play-bys we have are suggested, you must tell either me or Admin if you plan on using another play-by for that canon. We are reasonable, but we want to know what's going on with the canon faces.
You must keep the canon active if you wish to keep them, if you miss an activity check your canons will be taken from you and will be put back up for adoption.
To keep things under control, members CANNOT make characters related to Canon characters without my or Admin's consent. If you have an OC that wants to be related by blood to any canon character, please go through the mods first. And of course, please go through the Player as well. We don't want to have to say YEAH SURE YOU CAN BE DORIAN'S BROTHER/SISTER and then have Dorian's Player say WTF I DIDN'T AGREE TO THIS.
It is up to whoever roleplays Canon characters to manage who they bond with or form love interests with.And please, PLEASE exercise common sense when pairing characters who's sexualities have already been set in stone. EXAMPLE: Sera will not be interested in a male OC/Canon for any reason at all.
